Podi Scene is a growing archive of film and images connecting living and surfing in Sri Lanka.
We think that making stories built by combining our shared experiences on this island is one of the best ways to inspire and nurture the surf culture in Sri Lanka.
What kind of content are we looking for?
Waves + People surfing waves.
Nature + Living in nature.
History + Nostalgic moments from the past.

Your footage must be in HD, a minimum of 1080 resolution.

Submit a sample, URL link to your footage via the form. Or tag @podiscenefilm on Instagram.

We sign a simple agreement to use chosen segment in the film.

We will pay 10,000LKR for every minute we use in the final film. Videographer and anyone in the clip will be credited.
​Why are we paying?
Because surfers are artists and artists should get paid for their work. Or some bullshit reason like that. The fact is, we think it's a good precedent to set.
Are we only looking for Sri Lankan surfers?
No, if you live here or surf here thats enough.
